There are still good humans. The beautiful owner of Mom Made Foods reached out to me last week via Adler’s Facebook page about their new line of sandwiches. She was the one I got in touch with the first time Adler was on chemo as he wasn’t eating much at all but loved their meatballs and Target stopped carrying them. I about cried right there in the frozen food isle. So, I contacted them and she responded with boxes of meatballs for him!!! And she has kept up with him since. This time she told me to make room in my freezer and have Adler pick out what he would like from their website and she’d send it to him! Our freezer drawer is full!!! Thank you so so much. This is truly a beautiful gift!!!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 by Poster | Sep 10, 2020 | From The Roadfrom Life with our little Super Hero Adler Bear https://ift.tt/2FkX0gr

September is Hydrocephalus Awareness Month. You can clearly see Adlers shunt in this picture. The shunt was placed in an emergency as Adler had 3 times the normal amount of water on his brain. He was drowning. There is no cure. There is only brain surgery to fix it. He has a VP programable shunt set at 1.5 to properly drain the excess water through a tube to his abdominal area that has extra for growth. It’s expelled naturally by his body. Luckily he’s not needed a revision…..yet….. without that shunt, he would be dead. So if you know a hydro warrior, give them a social distance high five!!!! 💙💙💧💧 #adlerbear #hydrocephalus #hydrocephalusawarenessmonth by Poster | Sep 9, 2020 | Updates From the Roadfrom Life with our little Super Hero Adler Bear https://ift.tt/3aDpcoP
