“Adler is so tall” I hear it all the time. Yep. He is. A favorite picture. We’re all smiles at Epcot!! In front of France in our Ratatouille shirts. I made sure we could be matchy!!!! We truly enjoyed that day. Met wonderful cast members. Took our time around the world showcase. Had some snacks and a great late lunch. Rode all the rides we wanted including my almost favorite, Test Track back to back. It was a wonderful day.

7 years ago. His pain was excruciating. I was manic trying to find him help. Soon enough we would learn of his hydrocephalus and of his cancer and be told he didn’t have arachnoiditis. The hydrocephalus being an emergency. Also, the heavy doses of steroids he was on then for the pain shut his adrenal glands down and caused his adrenal insufficiency. Yet another life threatening illness he would deal with for the next 6 years. But they never did find the exact cause of the pain. Always assuming it was from the tumor in his cervical spine and the cancer in his lower lumbar spine. Heavy narcotics used to dull the pain but it never went away, only lessened it. So much pain for so long. 💔
