I decorated the window this morning!! I had no idea at the time that we wouldn’t be able to leave the room. Adler has unfortunately tested positive as well. At least now I can kiss him. So far he’s doing just fine outside of having major surgery. His doc was in full Halloween costume this morning. Loved it. He couldn’t come in but Adler did see him in the hallway. So. Yeah. 2020 can absofuckinglutly SUCK IT.

Adler is good!!! The surgery went great!!! He’s a badass!!!!! The doctor was very pleased with how well everything went. Now for the rest of the 2020 shit show. Aaron and I both unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19. Yep. The most cautious people got it. Adler will be retested as well. The hospital it amazing and taking the utmost caution and care about it. So it’s just me in the room with Adler for the duration of his stay. I cannot leave the room at all and nor can Adler. They are in full PPE when they come in. So. Many tears. So let’s hope and pray we don’t get sicker and that Adler doesn’t get it and that we can focus on his recovery and get back home and quarantine calmly and quietly.

And. He’s the strongest human I know. Even after a failed IV attempt and then a successful one from on old friend…….he didn’t cry, he had some tears but he even said “I didn’t fall apart” right before they wheeled him away. He will be fine. He’s in the best hands. 4-6 hours later, we will see him again. We are in a room by ourselves due to Covid and I’m fine with that. Aaron and I are just holding on. Thank you for all the love and support!!! 🅰️🌈💙⚓
